Nickel & Nickel Gleason Barn At NightThe Nickel & Nickel project has captivated us since its inception by its scope and ambition. Producing more than 25 single-vineyard, single-varietal releases that are grown, fermented and aged as separate and individual wines is a daunting logistical challenge. It starts with the right fruit, of course, which explains the wide net they’ve cast in enlisting the best sources. From plots of Russian River Chardonnay to tiny parcels of Napa Valley Cabernet, it’s clear the winemaking team does plenty of homework before putting a vineyard name on a Nickel & Nickel label. And as a sister winery to the renowned Far Niente, they have the resources to do things on their own terms. We know you’ll be thrilled with their work!
