    I arrived at the conclusion that BMH was my favorite bourbon a few years into my career as a bourbon drinker. I never claimed to be an expert, but then, lo and behold, Boyfriend came home one night raving (soberly!) about the greatest ever bourbon. You guessed it, Black Maple Hill. Now, we don't agree on much, taste-wise, so this was not only rare, but a boon! A few months later we had a bourbon tasting for Boyfriend's birthday, and the unanimous favorite was, once again, BMH. It's a must try. Though be prepared--it's often hard to come by.
