The palate is long and smooth, with a refined finish that exemplifies the 15 years it rested in French oak. The Tenareze region of Armagnac is known for its clay and limestone soil similar to Cognac's top growing regions of Grande Champagne. For this it has long been said that once you go Armagnac, you'll never return to Cognac. We would never suggest such a travesty, though having tasted this one, we know what they mean.
