Jefferson's 18yr Presidential Selection Straight Bourbon Whiskey Kentucky

Old bourbon whiskey of good quality is becoming increasingly rare these days, but Trey and Chet Zoeller of Jefferson’s have taken their philosophy of 'expertly made, very small batch whiskies' to a whole new level. This latest Presidential Select was one of the last whiskies made at the old Stitzel-Weller distillery (also home to Pappy Van Winkle) that closed in the early ’90s. As John Hansel of the Whisky Advocate remarked, 'Lovely fruit, gently sweet (black raspberry jam, blueberry pie), with nougat, creamy vanilla, a sprinkling of cinnamon, and polished leather on the fi nish.
