2007 Conundrum California

Essentially, Conundrum is a category unto itself. An absolute kitchen sink blend (they never really tell us what’s in it); it has the aromatics of Riesling and Gewürztraminer, the mid-palate weight of ripe Chardonnay and the viscosity and sweetness of Muscat. Admittedly, we’re guessing here. It’s like grandma’s fried chicken recipe. You can’t really nail it down, but you know that it works.
