2009 Domaine la Milliere Chateauneuf du Pape Vieilles Vignes

Looking for a bottle that you can drink now or cellar for a decade or two? That kind of balancing act usually commands a hefty price tag, but not in the case of Domaine La Millière. These guys are a bona fide sleeper of Châteauneuf, and the press is just starting to catch on. Earlier this year, we visited the property and saw first hand how these wines can progress over the course of twenty years or more. To make sure we "got it," they even whipped out 10+ year-old Côtes du Rhône to demonstrate how very much alive their wines are even with age.
