2009 Moone-Tsai Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

Thanks to his early background in Bordeaux making wines like Chateau Petrus, winemaker Philippe Melka has become one of Napa Valley's most coveted cellar talents. With a majority of the fruit for the Moon-Tsai project coming from our buddy John Caldwell’s Coombsville vineyard, Philippe had no option but to make an absolutely stunning bottle of Cabernet. It flaunts a dense core of blackberry and blueberry flavors fuse together with undertones of sweet tobacco and cherry pie. This one is truly playing for keeps... if you don’t like it, we want it back!
