Regularly among our favorite producers of laughably underpriced Barbaresco, Ronchi channeled a very showy year into a Nebbiolo worthy of serious attention. Robert Parker noted that the vintage produced wines that 'possess dazzling aromatics, silky tannins and generous fruit,' and Ronchi’s fits the mold. Rose petals, orange zest and ripe cherries seem to come in waves and the coating fruit tannins are pure Barbaresco. Bravo!
