When we developed the Streamside label, we had a pretty straightforward concept: leverage our relationships with top growers in the Napa and Sonoma Valleys in order to craft premium wines that don't break the pocketbook.Stylistically, the Bounty Hunter winemaking Team, led by Tim Milos, aimed to make a fresh, high acid white with minimal oak. An ultra-clean palate weight showcases its nuances of grapefruit, kiwi and citrus zest. The sophisticated mineral notes that support the fruit aren't often found in wines of this price category. Poolside or porch-side, this is your house white, a versatile crowd pleaser that is as 'at home' at formal dinner parties and the cocktail hour as it is at your backyard barbecue.

2009 Streamside Riesling Santa Lucia Highlands

Boy, did we have fun making this! Stopping fermentation with just a little residual sugar, it reminds us of a ripe German Kabinett. Honeyed fruit notes of cantaloupe and lime with a balance of sugar and acid rare in New World Riesling. Only 100 cases made.
