2011 Mayacamas Cabernet Sauvignon Mt. Veeder 1.5L

Decanter describes this gem of wine perfectly, " A mellow but developed nose of blackberry, bramble, anise and cedar. The palate is round and succulent, with an impressively juicy, thirst-quenching quality and flavours of black currant, charcoal, allspice and caramel. A beautiful expression from a producer that was stylistically well-suited for the conditions of 2011". Although 2011 was at the time considered a cold vintage, the wines have aged tremendously well and are currently some of the best drinking wines from Napa with a touch of age.
