2012 Paul Jaboulet Aine 'Les Jumelles' Cote Rotie

From the famous "roasted slope," grapes for this bottling are sourced from a pair of steep, sunbaked twin vineyards. Côte Brune tends to limestone soil, while Côte Blonde is mostly iron oxide and clay. Together, the sister vineyards create an expressive wine full of mixed berry jam and exotic perfume that has remarkable freshness and purity.
