From the KILLER 2013 vintage in Montalcino we have a great Brunello to offer you, at the lowest price in the USA, for that matter. It’s from the Fanti family, neighbors of luminaries like Poggio di Sotto and Mastrojanni. James Suckling loved the wine:
“Plenty of black cherry and berry character with hints of flowers. Medium to full body, soft and fresh tannins and a clean and delicious finish. Lovely now.”
You’ll find this so irresistible: Look for sweet black cherry fruit, and even more perfume in the mouth. Puffs of cocoa, and a hint of juniper complete the picture and make it impossible to have just one glass! With more seduction packed into every milliliter than Barolo or Chianti Classico can even dream of at night, this is a giveaway at $43!
Bright medium-red. Perfumed aromas of violet, red cherry, spices and iron. Then sweeter in the mouth, featuring a raspberry element complicated by a whiff of woodsmoke and graphite. Thanks to its harmonious acidity, this silky, persistent wine freshened up nicely with aeration, finishing long, clean and with repeating floral notes.
