Third-generation grower Giovanni Corino began his winemaking journey in the 80’s, following the lead of neighbor Elio Altare in terms of style. Over the years, he’s shown a lighter hand with new wood, letting the varietal and terroir work its magic. 2013 is high intensity from nose to tail, with focused aromas of ripe strawberries and hints of sweet tobacco. This is the year to start enjoying the chewy tannins and flavorful finish on another winning vintage from Corino.
Very intense and focused aromas of crushed ripe strawberries and walnuts. Hints of sweet tobacco. Full body, round and chewy tannins and a flavorful finish. Very structured. Drink or hold.
