Expertly composed by Jeff Ames, the Anthem Cabernet is a tune that gets stuck in your head. Harmonious balance, tireless length, and an intensity that builds with each sip makes this an Anthem that will have you humming along. The complex, savory flavors throughout are a pure expression of Mount Veeder terroir, brought to life by a maestro of the vine.
A blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot, and 1% Merlot, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon from Anthem offers a slightly lifted, perfumed style in its ripe blueberry and blackberry fruits, hints of violets, spice and forest floor. Ripe, full-bodied and opulent on the palate, with serious amounts of tannin hiding under its fruit, it's going to benefit from 2-3 years of cellaring and keep for 10-15 years after that.
