2014 Richard Perry Cabernet Sauvignon Coombsville

$59.95

In 1982, a dreamer with an unflappable work ethic named Richard Perry purchased a hillside property in the far southeastern corner of the Napa Valley, a little known area of rolling hills and volcanic soils called Coombsville, and built a vineyard. He terraced and planted the land himself. In 1999, he teamed up with winemaker Ken Bernards and began producing estate wines from these vines. Sadly, Richard passed away in a tragic accident in 2007, and Ken Bernards remains a partner and winemaker to carry on Richard’s legacy. This is a fabulously supple and giving bottle of Cabernet, perfect for drinking right now, and a comparative bargain!
