We loved tasting this wine, from its lifted wild raspberry nose to its juicy red cherry velvet palate, this has everything. Idyllic cool climate vineyard planted on Goldridge sandy loam adds layers and texture. Slightly wild and rambling towards the end like a memorable fireside story it is a wine to be retold again and again.
“Tart cranberry and pomegranate flavors present as juicy on the palate, the spiciness tenacious and accented in citrus. The energy and freshness is complemented well by a soft velvety texture.” – WE
Pale ruby colored, the 2014 Pinot Noir Chenoweth Vineyards has a beguiling nose of minted red cherries, cranberries, fragrant earth, wild thyme and roses with a waft of damp soil. Light to medium-bodied with wonderful elegance and poise, it has loads of energy and tension offered by the intense flavors and tightly wound structure, finishing long and minerally. The is a real understated beauty. Only 176 cases were made.
