This family-run winery is currently in the capable hands of third-generation steward, Giorgio, who follows in his father’s footsteps growing Nebbiolo and crafting powerful, age-worthy wines. Large, Slavonian oak barrels are the secret ingredient here, letting the natural character of the varietal shine through without artifact. This is a great estate to visit, should you get the chance. Hopefully a taste of this very traditional Barolo will hold you over until then!
Dried flowers, cherries and strawberries with rose-petal undertones. Full body, integrated tannins and a focused, chewy texture. This shows structure for the vintage.
