Comprised of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon from a hillside vineyard in Pope Valley, plus 4% Petit Verdot for lively red fruit and lift, this Vigilante gon' hunt!
Thanks to winemaker Tim Milos' expert guidance in the cellar, this is a plush mouthful of Cab packed with the essence of cherry liqueur, dried red and black berries, and dark chocolate. Made in a forward style to drink well, the costs on this one raised some eyebrows in the accounting department. Nevertheless, we think the amount of Cabernet pleasure we've managed to stuff in one bottle for $35 is going to raise more than your eyebrows!
The wines for Vigilante are given the name for good reason. All of the vineyards chosen to go into this wine offer up brawny, physiologically ripe fruit that is anything but subtle. In terms of intensity, this is a big-boy red, with a texture and flavor that should be outlawed.
