One of the benefits of our Napa address is that we get to know the family side of the business, and get to know the colorful people that make Napa Valley what it is.
The Buoncristiani brothers–four Italian-American guys who grew up watching their dad make wine in their Napa garage–all ended up in the wine business. The brothers can count stints at Rudd, Caldwell, Hess Collection and Roy Estate on their collective résumés, but it still comes back to the family side of the equation when their name is on the bottle. With serious vineyard sources gleaned from years of cellar work and local friendships, the smart thing to do is to capitalize on those connections to create world-class wine.
“Ol’ Pa’s Cuvee” has become Buoncristiani’s signature blend, reflecting four brothers’ passion for blending wines with concentration, power, and varietal character, while retaining balance and elegance. It’s a textural delight that will enhance just about every occasion. The Wine Advocate notes “cherry compote, blackberry pie, hints of violets, chocolate box and anise… voluptuously fruited in the mouth with rounded tannins.” Ol’ Pa would be proud.
