Purchased in 1998 and planted in 2000, Fattoria del Pino has a tiny number of plantings with 1.5 hectares dedicated to Rosso and .5 hectare for the Brunello at around 300 meters on Mount Montosoli. The silty clays, marls and limestones lend to a delicate style of Brunello, with ripe cherry fruits, blackberries, red currants, leather and integrated oak. Built to drink now with softish tannins, a creamy texture and a pretty earthy note.
