The 2015 Cabernet was a monster on release: big, bold and well-structured, it needed some time to soften and come into its own... and it surely did. Complex aromas of ripe blackberries and firm tannins are expressive on the palate. It is ready to drink now or will reward further aging. This wine delivers amazing value given its pedigree and quality of fruit.
This shows real interest on the nose with fresh blackcurrants, ivy, tea leaf, vanilla, cloves and peppermint. Freshness comes through aplenty on the palate, which is full-bodied with structured if chewy tannins, some pretty acidity and a driven finish. Blend of 85% cabernet sauvignon, 15% merlot.
