Atlas Peak looms over the valley floor and this Cabernet Sauvignon reaches for those same heights. A heavier hand with the Merlot in this bottle leads to an exceptionally silky finish and a particularly juicy blend of black fruit. Complex minerality and a dusting of cocoa further elevate this delicious alpha-wine.
Made up of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon with 8% Merlot and 4% Petit Verdot, the medium to deep garnet-purple 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Lobo Atlas Peak has a nose of chargrill, black soil and underbrush over a core of blueberry coulis, cassis and mulberries plus hints of Indian spices and incense. Big, full, rich and concentrated in the mouth, it has firm, grainy tannins and great freshness, finishing long and savory.
