This is a truly rare cuvée assembled by the best growers in the Oakville appellation. Typically only 100 Magnums are made each vintage; this blend was created by Cameron Parry of Groth Vineyards. The wine shows the dark cherry notes, refined fruit and firm-yet-silky tannins Oakville is known for, along with depth and power. This beautifully etched magnum represents the peak experience from one of the world's greatest districts for Cabernet Sauvignon. Only serious Napa Valley collectors need apply.

Oakville is arguably the most blessed township in America for growing Cabernet Sauvignon, strewn with alluvial gravels washed down over millennia from the Vaca mountains to the east and the Mayacamas mountains to the west. This little slice of the valley is only about 4 miles wide, but it is home to some of the greatest wineries in America, among them Screaming Eagle, Dalla Valle, Opus One, Far Niente, Futo, Harlan, Gargiulo, Rudd Estate, and Paradigm. Is it any mystery why Robert Mondavi built his Mission-style winery in Oakville here in 1966? Each year, the Oakville Winegrower’s Association assembles a cuvée comprised of tiny slices of their members’ very best wines. Only 100 magnums and 50 double magnums are produced, made up of wines from about 40 of their members. The bottles are etched and numbered, and are extremely rare. Bounty Hunter is one of the few places this wine can be acquired. In short, this is the best that Oakville has to offer, and we can only offer it to a limited number of key clientele.
