2015 Tomero Reserva Petit Verdot Mendoza

This supple, juicy red wine is 100% Petit Verdot from Finca Los Alamos, high in the Uco Valley of Mendoza, Argentina. Here the soils are exceedingly well drained and the grapes benefit from warm days and very cold nights.

The winery calls this "an intense ruby red with glints of deep
plum, and displays herbal aromas with subtle notes of tobacco and cocoa. On the palate you are met with abundant stone fruit flavors of wild plum and inklings of minerality. Silky tannins and a pleasing medium body mouthfeel culminate with a pleasing, lengthy finish."
