This rambunctious red blend might just knock your socks off with its fistfuls of blackcurrants, fig, and plum preserves. Suckling enjoyed the “caressing texture” but Dunnuck puts it best: “I was blown away by the 2016 Chateau Monbousquet.” True enough, this French powerhouse is ready to storm the castle, but we recommend opening the gates and inviting it to dinner.
A soft and very silky Monbousquet with wonderfully caressing texture. Full body. Delicious crushed cherries and berries. Beautiful length, too. Hard not to drink now.
