The rolling hills of the cool, southern Sonoma Valley are the ideal home for Chardonnay vines. This classically styled expression of the varietal is aged in 32% new French oak for 15 months, giving it a generous, round mouthfeel and long, lingering lemon curd finish. Ripe apricots, mango pudding, and layer upon layer of tropical fruits and nut flavors burst around a lovely acid backbone in this gorgeous Chardonnay.
This is a structured and rich white with cream, lemon curd and cooked apples. Smoky. Full-bodied, dense and layered with a solid core of fruit and a long, intense finish. Shows some reserve and tightness now.
