2016 DeLoach 'Estate' Pinot Noir Sonoma County Barrel Auction

$119.95

Synonymous with diligence, DeLoach Vineyards has been setting the standard in the Russian River Valley for more than three decades through their experimentation with the combinations of soil, rootstock and clones. Proprietor Jean-Charles Boisset, who took over the operations of the winery in 2003, inspires the team to produce the quintessential terroir-driven Pinot Noirs that capture the spirit of the Russian River Valley.

This exclusive Pinot Noir was crafted solely for the Barrel Auction from DeLoach’s hand-harvested organic and biodynamic estate vineyard, as well as with fruit from their vineyard partners. Winemaker Brian Maloney, a vintner known for his committent to Old World, Burgundian methods like open-top fermenters and pigeage, oversaw the unique blend of this wine exclusively for the Barrel Auction. It is a one-of-a-kind, never before, never again Pinot Noir that perfectly captures the essence of Russian River Valley Pinot Noir in every drop. We scored the only 5 cases produced in 2016!
