The name of this bottling literally means “thirst for tenderness.” Crafted from organic grapes, it’s a bright wine redolent with soft floral aromas, red raspberries and spice, along with a satiny mouthfeel. This is a perfect bottle for easy drinking, especially chilled in the summer time, but don’t wait until then to enjoy it!
Jean-Max Manceau’s family had three generations of experience in the wine industry before he and his wife Odile decided to acquire Domaine de Noiré in 2001. Chinon wines from the Noiré region have been prized since the 1800s, and they’ve spent the last few years restoring the winery and vineyards to their former glory. Jean-Max is a leading winemaker from the region, and whether he’s making red, white, Chinon or sparkling wines, he’s considered a standard bearer for the appellation.
