We continue to be amazed by this bottling from FEL, which is just an incredible bottle of Pinot, any way you slice it: very rich and long, this pulses with notes of juicy, herby candied strawberries and cherries, pink peppercorns, and pennyroyal. Wines like this show you why the Savoy Vineyard is so highly regarded!
With the acquisition of Breggo Cellars and the heralded Savoy Vineyard in 2014, FEL was born in Anderson Valley, the brainchild of our friend Cliff Lede. The letters in FEL represent Florence Elsie Lede: Cliff Lede’s mother, a home winemaker who provided the early inspiration for Lede’s love of wine. The label also honors her passion for gardening with an illustration of an opening tulip. We are consistently floored by FEL’s Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays.
