2016 Rocca di Frassinello Maremma Tuscany

A wonderful vintage from maturing vines, the fruit really comes into its own here. Intense, ruby red color hints at the sweet red berries and roses within. Enormous richness and surprising power shine through in the opulent fruit and the balanced dance of sweetness, dark fruit, and delicate spice. Perfect now, but will keep for another five years.
