2016 Senses 'MCM88' Pinot Noir Russian River Valley

We scored less than 10 cases of this “1988” cuvée, (named for Max, Chris, and Myles and their birth year) from a block in the former Keefer Ranch that was made famous by Kosta Browne. This is such a bold, fruit-driven bottle of Pinot Noir—we had to have it! The Wine Advocateswooned for its “exuberant black raspberries, mulberries and crushed blueberries notes with hints of baking spices, anise, chocolate box and menthol. Medium to full-bodied, it fills the palate with generous black and blue fruits with plenty of spicy accents and a refreshing line, finishing long and silken textured.” Burgundy nuts, Sonoma Coast enthusiasts, this one has your name on it!
