This exciting new neighbor to the Bolgheri big boys is making waves along the Tuscan coast. A Bounty Hunter Exclusive it is an enticing blend, which shows ripe fruit aromatics accented by graphite and earth and a well structured palate with gripping tannins. Looking for an alternative to Right Bank Bordeaux for that rack of lamb you’re making? Look no further. A case of this will mature incredibly well in your cellar.
Expressive flavors of black currant, plum, cedar, coffee and oak spice are allied to a firm, tannic structure. Starts out rich and complex, tightening up on the finish. Impressive, but needs time. Cabernet Franc.
The 2016 Bolgheri Tenuta Meraviglia is a rich and darkly saturated wine with creamy dark fruit that feels soft and velvety from the first sip. This is a decadent red wine from Bolgheri with black fruit aromas of plum and black currant followed by spice, tobacco and campfire ash. I love the succulence and the generosity of this sunshine-driven wine. The blend is 70% Cabernet Franc and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. Some 26,000 bottles were released. This estate is part of the Alejandro Bulgheroni Family Vineyards.
