Vivid ruby in color with garnet hints, this is quite an intense Pinot Noir. There’s a boldness and depth that can only be found in fruit grown on old vines. The opening aromas show violets, pepper, clove and tobacco. Wild strawberries and other red fruits steal the show on the palate, which is full-bodied and silken with savory tannins. This will hold up well in the cellar, but it’s mouthwatering right out the gate.
