2017 Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon Paso Robles

(97 points for the 2015 and 96 points for the 2016) surprisingly it is not from Napa Valley. This Napa Valley “king-slayer” hails from Paso Robles in the Central Coast of California where top reds have been on our radar for years. Both vintages sold out extremely quickly – especially given the sub $50 price-point. Dollar for dollar this wine clearly stands on its own against many at 2-3x its low price. The pure size and density of rich and opulent black and blue fruits in this wine are quite decadent to say the least. We just received the new 2017 vintage with its perfect growing conditions and expect this wine to be sold out shortly, probably before its latest score is released (like last year). So do yourself a favor and grab a case of this lush Cabernet for the summer grilling season and amaze your wine loving friends!
