Fantastic value in this wine. Knights Valley was first acquired by Beringer in 1961, and to this day is a place of rustic and unspoiled beauty stretching for miles. James Suckling gave this wine 93 points, "this reserve steps up in terms of ripeness and depth with dark-cherry, blackcurrant and violet aromas, leading to a smooth yet powerful palate that delivers plenty of rich, dark-berry flavor. Polished tannins and astute oak deployment."

Over the past 141 years, Beringer has built its name on quality and consistency. The oldest continuously operating winery in Napa Valley (they used a federal license during Prohibition that allowed them to make wine for religious purposes), they’ve been instrumental in both the development of Napa’s international reputation while simultaneously serving as a critical link to its past.

Vinous

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Knights Valley Reserve is laced with black cherry, plum, gravel, lavender and dark spice notes. Powerful and broad, but with a bit more softness than the straight Knights Valley Cabernet, the Reserve is another winner in this range from Beringer.
