2017 Honig 'Bartolucci' Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley
Winemaker Kristen Belair picked the perfect time to harvest in 2017, capturing beautifully ripe fruit from this St. Helena vineyard. Vibrant cassis, blackberries and mulberries build a perfume backed by savory, earthy notes. The full-bodied palate has firm, fine-grained tannins and a lasting energy on the finish. There’s a black cherry richness that lingers like a memory of summer and sharing a bowl of warm, juicy cherries in the sun. It was delicious the day it arrived and time is only adding to its appeal.
Wine Advocate
This is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Bartolucci vineyard on Dean York Lane in St. Helena. Deep purple-black colored, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Bartolucci Vineyard offers vibrant cassis, blackberries and mulberries scents with hints of olives, bay leaves and tilled soil. The palate is full-bodied, firm and fine-grained with background freshness and plenty of energy in the finish. Nice!
