2017 Inglenook Cabernet Sauvignon Rutherford

$84.95 $100.00

Inglenook Cabernet Sauvignon is an estate-grown wine blended from the finest lots of Bordeaux varieties that remain after the iconic Rubicon has claimed its share. 2016 brings focused, ripe black cherry and blackberry to the forefront with a backdrop of lavender, thyme and bay. The palate weaves together flavor components so expertly it’s senseless to try to pick out one or two elements from such a harmonious tapestry. Take it all in with a satisfied sigh and enjoy the lingering, aromatic finish.

James Suckling

Aromas of currants, blackberries and violets follow through to a medium body and firm, tight tannins that give it length and structure. This needs time to soften. Better after 2022.
