Structured like a classic Corton and begging for a little more time in the bottle, the full-bodied flavors already show a lot of richness and power. Impressive complexity and ripe tannins show a lot of promise for the decade ahead – decant for an hour if you simply cannot wait to enjoy it!
Moderate reduction masks everything except the overt wood toast. There is fine richness and punch to the moderately full-bodied flavors that are shaped by ripe tannins on the youthfully austere and slightly lean but impressively complex and persistent finish where a touch of wood resurfaces. This has the potential to be excellent though it is structured like a classic Corton and will certainly require time in bottle.
