“Overdelivers" is a term that sometimes gets “overused” in the wine world, but what else could you say about Martin Ray's Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon for under $20?! Rated 93 points from James Suckling, the quality is in the bottle for the price. Dark cherries, licorice, and mocha are present on the nose and palate. Exciting notes of blueberry, baking spice and black pepper round out the palate. Tannins integrate nicely for a long, satisfying finish.
Rich and dense red with ripe berries and currants, as well as spices and hints of vanilla. Medium-to full bodied with soft and round tannins. Juicy fruit Outstanding. Serious at this price.
