We can’t contain our excitement about this new Thomas
Rivers Brown partnership, especially since he saw fit
to share the first single vineyard wine. Tournahu is a
gorgeous, rocky site in northern St. Helena, endowing
this with effusive boysenberry, crushed blueberry, and
cocoa flavors.

There’s a ripe herb/herbal edge in the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Tournahu Vineyard, which comes from a vineyard on the valley floor located on an old riverbed. Lots of black fruits, salted meats, and cured black olives define the bouquet, and it’s full-bodied, concentrated, and structured on the palate. It’s a serious wine that will benefit from 2-4 years of bottle age and keep for 15-20.
