Definitely not named for the sitcom, but for the Hendrys themselves, who have roots in Napa Valley that run even deeper than the ancient vines on the R.W. Moore Vineyard. From a dry-farmed field blend of Zinfandel peppered with Petite Sirah, Carignane, Mourvedre and Mourtaou comes this richly elegant, enchanting Zinfandel with plush dark fruits, satiny tannins and all that good, Zin spice.
This graceful wine is aged in French oak, one-third of it new. Brambly, rich red fruit remains lifted and structured on the palate, alongside a grip of baking spice, black pepper and leather.
