The Tollot-Beaut family has been making wines in the Beaune since the late 1880’s. They maintain a high proportion of old vines in their vineyard and are known for a serious but pleasing style. The winemaking is simple and subtle, traditional daily punch downs keeps the fruit to the fore. The Bourgogne Rouge has a delicate profile with aromas of red flowers, cherries, and sweet herbs. Warm notes of vanilla and spice with a rounded texture come from the French oak aging. A perfect Burgundy for early drinking.
