In the rain shadow of the Vosges Mountains, Alsace is a bit warmer than it’s Riesling happy neighbor Germany. The more temperate weather leads to a wine with heft and staying power. This excellent example is brimming with yellow and green apple, bracing acid, and a thrilling finish. For those Riesling fans out there, be sure to add this one to your collection!
A beautiful note of green apple rises subtly from the glass. The palate of this wine presents a slender body brimming with lifted freshness. At the core, there is dried and fresh lemon peel, ripe green apple and riper juicy plum. This wine is juicy, balanced and fresh, with a dry, mouth-watering finish. ANNE KREBIEHL MW
