2018 Beringer 'Q' Red Blend Napa Valley

$39.95 $65.00

A blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot, with the balance split between Cab Franc, Petit Verdot and Petite Sirah, this red brings dark berries and ripe plum to the table in a solid, aromatic wine. Our theory: This is one Quantum that doesn’t require a PhD in physics to enjoy. For evidence, just check out the steal of a price on this atomic red.

Over the past 141 years, Beringer has built its name on quality and consistency. The oldest continuously operating winery in Napa Valley (they used a federal license during Prohibition that allowed them to make wine for religious purposes), they’ve been instrumental in both the development of Napa’s international reputation while simultaneously serving as a critical link to its past.

James Suckling

This shows lots of spice, berry and walnut character. Currants, too. Medium to full body, tight tannins and a vibrant finish. Needs time to open, but nicely crafted and balanced.
