2018 Chateau Miraval Cotes de Provence Rose
Brangelina, we bid you a sorrowful adieu. However, we salute you for making the decision to keep this beautiful estate in Provence in the family for the long haul. Yes, this terrific rosé is still a joint effort on the part of the Jolie, Pitt, and Perrin families. This wine has a silky texture, and classic Provençal aromas of pressed pink and white roses, cherries, and grapefruit rind. Stock up on this fine conversation piece for this summer’s cookouts—it likely will sell out soon!
Wine Advocate
Bottled just a few weeks before my visit, Miraval's 2018 Cotes de Provence Rose was in fine form. A blend of 50% Grenache, 30% Cinsault, 10% Syrah and 10% Rolle, it boasts floral and melon aromas, while on the palate, it's medium-bodied, plump and fleshy, with a zesty, tangerine-tinged finish.
