2018 Dagmar 'Maiden Voyage' Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville

With fruit from Oakville and Atlas Peak aged in American oak, rather than the more common French oak, this wine takes a page from the Silver Oak book and folds it into a lovely origami of ripe red fruits layered with mocha, leather, mineral and baking spice. On the palate, generous red fruit finds milk chocolate notes in a full-bodied, silky wine with delicate tannins and a long, smooth finish.
