2018 Etude 'Grace Benoist Ranch' Pinot Noir Carneros
Grace Benoist Ranch is tucked away in the far Northwest corner of the Carneros appellation, with layers of varied, volcanic soils and coursing with fault-line energy. This vibrant red opens with lifted red berry aromas along with the signature cinnamon and graham cracker notes. Lush and silky, this Pinot Noir is a pure delight.
James Suckling
Vivid strawberry and dried-flower aromas here with hints of sandalwood. Medium to full body with firm, creamy tannins and a tangy finish. Opulent. Tight and focused. Pumice and black and white-pepper notes. A pretty wine already, but give it a year or two to open and soften. Drink after 2021.
