Sumptuous and food-friendly, this Rhone beauty may be a little too easy to enjoy. While the next few years promise a lovely evolution, the 2018 Domaine De La Janasse Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Chaupin will drink spectacularly from the moment it arrives. A feast of flavors, you’ll revel in kirsch, blueberries, and spring flowers tempered by graphite and crushed stone. Simply a gorgeous red from start to finish.

Incorporating 30% stems and brought up in foudre and demi-muid, the 2018 Châteauneuf Du Pape Cuvée Chaupin is just a gorgeous wine that offers a perfumed bouquet of kirsch, blueberries, spring flowers, graphite, and crushed rocks. It's elegant and medium to full-bodied, with the purity of the vintage and a great finish. It’s not going to match the top vintages of this cuvée, but it’s going to drink spectacularly well in its youth and evolve nicely for 10-15 years.
