2018 Kunin 'Pape Star' Rhone Blend Central Coast
Kunin started out with enough knowledge to be dangerous and a drive to learn more. He stepped away from the restaurant industry and into the cellar at Gainey Vineyards where he picked brains and crushed grapes until he was ready to launch his own small production winery. The 'Pape Star’ of that show is this 93-Point blend of 37% Grenache, 34% Mourvèdre, 25% Syrah and 4% Carignane, rising from the glass with a luscious perfume of crushed red and black berries with a touch of mint and turned earth. Silky and juicy, this star will light up your next BBQ just right.
