A kegger at the beach finds its grown-up equivalent in a coastal Pinot paired with our delicious Beer Can Chicken. This broad-shouldered beauty has a mouthwatering palate awash in black fruit and sassafras.
The 2018 Pinot Noir Gap's Crown Vineyard is one of the more exotic wines in the lineup. Its translucent ruby hue is followed by a spicy, savory nose of mulled red and black fruits, autumn leaves, toasted nuts, and loamy earth. These carry to a beautiful, seamless Pinot Noir with ripe, integrated tannins, beautiful freshness, and one heck of an impressive finish. It's a gorgeous, singular wine that should have 10-12 years of longevity.
The 2018 Pinot Noir Gap's Crown is even better from bottle than it was from barrel. Rich, effusive aromatics and strong mineral accents give the Gap's Crown so much energy to play off its translucent personality. Power without weight comes to mind. In a word: terrific.
